Project: Create the Best Virtual Community for People Navigating Change

Role: Founder & Facilitator
Years Active: 2019 - Present

Overview:

The Culture Club (TCC) is a membership community for people navigating transition — career pivots, healing journeys, leadership growth and life redesign. What began as a single cohort in 2019 expanded into 11 cohorts through 2023, and evolved in 2025 into a year-long membership that continues to grow in size, depth and impact.

TCC has attracted 94 alum to date, consisting of a diverse community of women from 29 to 62 years old who have advanced degrees and companies of their own; are in senior and emerging leadership roles; and share a desire to be in a safe, thoughtful and ambitious community.

What I Designed & Led:

  • Developed and refined the Culture Club model through iterative cohorts and feedback from members — creating a curriculum and structure rooted in reflection, personal agency and collective accountability.

  • Facilitated nearly 100 members since 2019, supporting them through life-changing decisions like leaving jobs, launching businesses, moving cities, leaving unhealthy relationships and stepping into leadership.

  • Created a culture of deep trust and real growth, cited by members as one of the most life-affirming spaces they’ve entered:

“My life will never be the same, ever.”
“This community eliminated fears and insecurities I had.”
“This has reminded me who the f*ck I am.”

Impact Highlights:

  • Over 30 members launched or grew businesses

  • Dozens changed jobs, moved across the country or stepped into new leadership roles

  • Multiple members reported healed relationships, boundary-setting and a return to self-trust

  • New members consistently cite the community’s accountability, intention, emotional safety, and boldness as key reasons for joining

The Culture Club (2025) returned with an improved curriculum and 30 members who are helping shape the future of the program to be the and most transformative virtual community for people navigating change. Their presence signals both sustainability and long-term impact.

Reflections:

This community is a convergence of my core strengths: strategic visioning, catalyzing action in others and trust-based relationship building. It’s a space where intention meets infrastructure — where people feel both held and challenged to grow.

The ongoing stream of unsolicited testimonials I receive tells me that building safe spaces to learn and grow isn’t just impactful, but essential. They affirm the power of community in catalyzing personal change, and the extraordinary responsibility I carry in holding space for others as they navigate transitions. It’s work I don’t take lightly and continues to be one of the greatest privileges of my life and career.
